An existing double lot beach house gutted and reworked to reduce an overly complex interior to minimalist open spaces open to the view. The proposed street elevation uses polished stone and aluminum with automotive styling ideas to reinterpret the typical Spanish Colonial urban façade of thick walls with plaster grills and wrought iron entries.
